Transcripts are complete, read-only records of everything that happened inside a ticket like every message, attachment, embed, and reaction. They are perfect for keeping a trail of reviewing past tickets.

When transcripts are saved

Transcripts are saved automatically whenever a ticket is closed. As soon as a ticket is closed, Ticketr captures the full conversation history and stores it in the transcript database. You don’t have to do anything so if the ticket channel still exists, the transcript is created for you.
Manual transcripts You can also save a transcript of any text channel or thread at any time using /transcripts create. This works for ticket channels.

/transcripts create [channel]

Creates a transcript of a channel manually. This command is restricted to members with the Admin or Staff role configured in /settings. If you run it inside a ticket channel you don’t need to pass anything. When the transcript is saved, Ticketr replies with a View Transcript button that links straight to the web viewer.
No messages found If the channel has no messages, or the transcript could not be saved, Ticketr will tell you and won’t create an empty transcript.

/transcripts list [limit]

Lists the most recent transcripts saved in your server. Each entry shows the ticket number, who opened it, when it was created (as a relative Discord timestamp), and a View link to open the transcript in the web viewer. If your server has no transcripts yet, you’ll get a “No transcripts have been saved for this server yet” message.

The transcript viewer

Every transcript gets a dedicated page on the web dashboard, reachable at:
The {guild} and {id} parts are filled in for you in every transcript link Ticketr sends, so you rarely need to type this URL yourself. You must be signed in to the dashboard with Discord to open it. The viewer is a full recreation of the original conversation and shows:
  • Every message with its timestamp, author display name, avatar, and role colour
  • Attachments (images, files) and stickers
  • Embeds, including fields, thumbnails, and images
  • Reactions and message components (buttons, selects)
  • Replies to other messages, plus edited and pinned badges
  • Ticket metadata: ticket number, who opened it, when it was opened and closed, and the close reason
Attachments are embedded directly into the transcript whenever possible so they keep working long after they’d normally expire on Discord’s CDN. Anything too large or that failed to download keeps its CDN link instead, which Ticketr refreshes automatically on view.

Who can view transcripts

Viewing transcripts requires a role listed in Admin Roles or Staff Roles in /settings. Ticketr’s own global administrators can also view transcripts on any server.
Deleting transcripts Deleting a transcript is more restricted than viewing it. Only members with the Administrator server permission can delete transcripts so a plain Admin/Staff role isn’t enough. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Transcript retention

Transcripts are kept for a fixed amount of time depending on your plan, after which they are automatically purged:
